Meet Dr.Abdullah Aljaafari (El Paso, TX)

Dr. Abdullah Aljaafari is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist committed to providing personalized eye care for adults and children. An El Paso native, he graduated from Franklin High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso. He later received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry.

Licensed in Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Aljaafari provides comprehensive eye care with special interests in glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, cataracts, and myopia control.

Dr. Aljaafari chose optometry because he wanted to help people see clearly and protect their eye health. He finds it especially rewarding to improve his patients’ everyday lives—whether helping a child receive their first pair of glasses or supporting an adult in managing an eye condition.

He values educating his patients and building lasting relationships through trust and individualized care. Outside the office, Dr. Aljaafari enjoys playing soccer and tennis.
